Cubase 9.5 doesn't run on win 7

I have a serious problem installing Cubase 9.5 on my PC. After I did everything right, a problem regarding e-licenser occured which I can’t easily solve.
Here is the message screen. Can anyone tell me what I did wrong? On win 10 everything works excellent but I need it on win 7 too.

Is Windows fully up to date?
Latest elicenser?

Also if you run msconfig do you maybe have selective startup selected? If so select normal startup and reboot.

I’ve had this with my Win 7 64 bit.
I swiched on updates and let it update automatically (It takes hours)
I was Ok after that but i have since switched off updates.

Further to this, there are definitely some post SP1 updates required. I think it was one of the .Net framework ones but may be wrong. If you search the forums you might be able to find the exact update but personally I’s just get all the updates as titchyblackcat says.

FWIW it works fine on both my Win 10 and 7 systems (with updates).

Hi, I’m running v9.5.21 working fine. Then tried to update to the new v 9.5.30: This is the result.
Since then I keep working using v9.5.21 (running without flaws until now), hoping that next time they’ll come out with something working.
Please let me know, when you were able to resolve “our” problem with the eLicenser Control.
