Cubase 9.5 freezes when I select create drum map

I’m running Cubase 9.5 on a Dell XPS 9350 with a 2.3GHz i5-6200U CPU and 8Gb Ram, with a UR22 Mark II interface. Cubase freezes on a particular project when I select ‘create drum map from instrument’. It’s very irritating as it means the editor defaults to the key editor rather than the drum editor on the percussion track.

My brain froze, like Cubase

I had the same problem but found a work around.
Create a new drum track
select 'create drum map from instrument
Copy old drum track and paste onto new drum track.

I have the same problem here on Cubase Elements 9 64b,up-to-date, when I choose “create drum map from instrument”.
