Just upgraded to Cubase 9.5 and my latency is way higher. Can’t seem to get it back to where it was in Cubase 6.5. I’ve been using an Antelope Orion 32 into win 7 over usb. I’m looking to get rid of usb and go Madi. Would the ssl madixtreme card work? I know it’s discontinued, but it’s way cheaper than the rme hdspe madi card. In regards to latency, I’m assuming Madi would be significantly better than usb. For future compatibility issues would it be better to just go win 10 cubase 9.5 rme hdspe madi?
