I just built a new system (Mobo, cpu, memeory) and installed everything - including Cubase 7.5 and Pro 9 - and it’s working like a charm except Pro 9 won’t boot correctly. I’ve tried reinstalling and clearing the appdata folder.
This is also my first experience with Windows 10, and I wasn’t having trouble with Pro 9 on Windows 7.
Try putting the dongle into another port, it’s a dongle related error, Try updating the elicencer software. I am not sure but at one time dongles were USB 2 only. RUn the installer as admin
From other threads it seems that some older dongles don’t work and you are best off buying a new dongle and transferring the licence - it says.
