Cubase affecting plugin resolution

Hello everyone,

I recently purchased Cubase 14 and also bought the AmpleGuitar Taylor plugin, which is a well-known plugin. I’ve noticed a strange issue when working with it in Cubase.

When I first drag AmpleGuitar onto a track, the plugin’s UI opens correctly, with no issues. However, when I close the plugin and try to reopen it from the Edit Instrument button (the one with the piano icon), the UI gets cut off from the bottom.

I don’t understand why this is happening, as everything looks fine initially. I don’t want to resize Cubase, because it’s already in a good scale for me. Can someone help me understand why this happens and how to fix it?

Perhaps you should provide a bit more info? What OS you’re using? If it’s Windows - I’m assuming that it is… - what’s the OS scaling factor and do you use Hi-DPI in Cubase and any offset scaling in there?

Are you able to try it in another DAW on your system to see if perhaps the problem is with the plugin, and not with Cubase?
