Cubase AI 11 Punch in Recording

I’ve recently installed AI 11 and been running it successfully.
Just one query regarding punch in recording.
In AI 8 I was able record where playback would start from the cursor but recording start and at the locators .

However, in AI 11, as soon as I press record it jumps straight to the left locator and starts recording, which is fine to a certain extent, but need to start play back from the cursor as an intro .

Please help.

I always add a marker track and drop a marker where you want to start recording. It will jump back a little as a lead in to start recording.

I don’t use Cubase Ai, so may be different, But have you looked at the ‘Set up common record modes’ button on transport bar?
