You can not update from a version you do not own. A trial is just a trial and it ends after a defined timeframe, so you just have a time based license. You did not buy it, so no way of updating it.
So if you have a Cubase 11 AI version it was probably using the Soft eLicenser. That is basically a file on disk of your computer and if you change the computer you need to go through the reactivation procedure, to get is working again on the new computer.
How to do that is described here
If you bought the wrong update you can ask for a refund by contacting the Online Shop Support.
Tried reactivation and I get the message no product found on my e license. Once again I state that wanted to buy product ( clicked on trial expired-BUY ) after my trial but all options offerred elements 14 which I paid forā¦ (upgrade from LE11).
Thanks for sticking with me Juergen. Same mail address. When I show my e licenser based products it lists Cubase elements 14 (upgrade from Cubase elements on e licenser) However activation status says not yet activated. When I try to do this using the activation code sent when I purchased Elements 14 it lists my e license but with a not upgradeable sign on it and message no upgradeable license found. In my steinberg licensed products it lists Cubse elements 13 trial expired and cubase elements 14 verification pending
Hi @Matthias_Quellmann
I have an eLicence version of Cubase 11 AI, and I would like to move it onto a new PC, at the same time upgrading to Version 14. Could you update the licence please, so I can directly install Version 14 AI?
Thanks
Stephan
Hi @Matthias_Quellmann I have an eLicense version of Cubase AI 11 and I would like to upgrade it to Cubase AI 14 to get it into the new licencing regime. Is that do-able? Hope you can help, thanks if you can.
This migration must be a nightmare from your side - was bad from this side but I think Iām there now!
