Some time ago (long ago) I bought an UR interface I still use and love, and I got cubase ai. Yesterday after updating some absolute 6 and nuendo content, and I noticed I have CUBASE ai15 in my products section at steinberg download assistant… so I was wondering… could I install it and use it in this same computer?, And I see the new YAMAHA Omnivocal beta is included as a tool! so can I use it? and will that work maybe in my Nuendo 14 projects if I install it as a tool… ??? If not just to be able to try some things would be so good. And what about I use that in another laptop I own instead, to be able hand some producer labor to a collaborator here? Do I have to authorize this iin another computer and stop using it on this one? Im sorry so many questions and thoughts I dont know who to ask to and this community is the best.
Any thoughts, knowledge, experience would help a lot
Hi, I have Cubase pro 14 and also see AI/LE 15 in my product section, are these also installable/fully functional for me? I tried to find an upgrade option from pro 14 to AI/LE 15 without luck.
LE/AI is a severely cut down version that usually comes bundled with hardware….it would be a major downgrade from any pro version.
If it’s in your MyProducts section you probably already have a license (See Martin’s post for how to confirm) and can just install it if you really want to.
They’re in “My products” section in the Download Assistant, but not in any of the lists (all/activated/not activated) in Activation Manager - unless the AI/LE ones there are valid for all versions? I’ve bought AI version earlier, some years ago, but bought/upgraded to pro 11/12/13/14 after that.
