Cubase Ai 8 to AI 9 Activation

I have a license of Cubase AI 8, I only used the Download Access Code and still the product is not activated because at the time I had another DAW license activated. But now I want to use Cubase AI.
So my question is can I get a grace period upgrade from cubase ai 8 to cubase ai 9, as i never activated my product.

If yes please tell me the procedure for grace period activation. :unamused:

What new features are in Cubase AI 9? Presumably it wouldn’t be all of these New in Cubase 12: Time to Embrace a New Era | Steinberg for a $10 upgrade.
