Hi, I have been a casual user of AI for several years. I am using it mainly these days to master and edit a couple of podcasts. My current version is 9.5, which was installed when I got my laptop and I haven’t had the need to change. I have a desire to increase quality of our podcasts, I am looking at WaveLab, but I want to compare it to a more up to date version of Cubase. Also I am concerned with the shutdown of the eLicenser service that if something happens to my computer I am out of luck.
Is 9.5 directly upgradable to a newer version? I see all kinds of things about upgrading to Pro, but I think that is overkill for my use case. Is there a way to upgrade to a version of AI that works with the current licensing scheme?
