When does it crash? What are your steps before it crashes? Does it crash always in this case?

Cubase was fresh opened and i tried to open saved project .cpr file. And instead open project - error, in this opening step was first time crash, never seen before. Then i closed Cubase and on second opening everything goes ok.
I have more crash dumps from last year, but i have no explanation about them. And they 100% not related to this case crash dumps i think.
Allowed to attach only 3 files :frowning:. So will do more posts.

Hi,

I have resolved the only one Cubase 10.0.40 dmp file. The others are old (C10.0.5) and I would just recommend to update Cubase then.

This C10.0.40 crash is in Groove Agent SE. Please make sure you have the latest Groove Agent SE installed.

HI! i have crash dump when putting selecting a compressor and eq.


c:\Users\Acer\Documents\Steinberg\Crashdumps\Cubase AI 10.0.30.236 64 bit 2020.1.16 8.59.47 .520.dmp.

also when starting Cubase doesn’t recognize by default my montage 7 anymore like it use to.

I have never had these issues before.

Please update to the latest Cubase 10.0.40. If it’s still crashing, upload the latest Cubase AI 10.0.40 crash, please.

For the other issue, make a new thread, please. Explain more in detail, what do you mean by “doesn’t recognize by default my montage 7”… Do you mean a control plug-in, or the MIDI Ports or an Audio Device of it…? Thanks.
