Cubase AI doesn't record

Hello,

I use Cubase AI (9.5) for the first time. I wanted to record a bass guitar.
I enabled recording for the track “bass audio”, but it doesn’t show anything while recording.
The connection with my UR22 is okay. The bass is coming through my headphone.
I can see the bass amplitude in the Mix console monitor, but nothing happens in the monitor of the channel settings.,
Probably I miss something.

Problem solved.
My bass was connected to input 2 whereas mono 1 was selected in the inspector.
Setting it to mono 2 solved the problem.
