Cubase AI Upgrade Housekeeping on Windows: 10.5 to 11

I am a relative newcomer to DAW software with a newcomer-type of question.

When Cubase AI 11 came out, I upgraded but still have 10.5 on my computer. Both versions will open and appear to operate normally (though I haven’t tested extensively). To remove previous files, is the process as simple as using Add/Remove Programs to uninstall 10.5? Any common pitfalls to avoid?

With AI 12 available now, I want to get up to date but don’t want to foul up my installation or my laptop. Thanks!

Hi,

You can uninstall Cubase 10.5 the common way. No worries, you will be able to use Cubase 11 after.

Thank you, Martin. Good day!
