Cubase (all versions, incl. 8.0.5) crashing on exit

Yeah, I very much doubt it could be the dongle itself. I have been wondering though if it could be related in some way since it is the only common element involved for everyone, PC and Mac. An exit call or something that intermittently goes tits up. I really don’t know. It’s technical stuff beyond my knowing but something is finding its way into some sort of semi-perpetual loop.

I had one earlier. Quickest way out for me is a reboot, or I can go and make a coffee while it does its thing. I can force Cubase to close from the task manager but that leaves my sound card inoperable so I still have to reboot.

I just live with it, but there must be a reason for it.

Thanks Subsonic for the suggestion, but it didn’t help. Power Options / USB selective suspend setting = Disabled didn’t make any difference.

I also tried this: Open Cubase 8.0.5, put computer to sleep, resume, directly try to Terminate (Tree) with Process Hacker. Nope, same hang.

I have also similar problem… when I quit Cubase it also crashes but only when I close Cubase straight away after closing project window… if I wait few seconds Cubase closes normally, in other way it shows that “cubase stopped working”… this is for sure Cubase problem… didn’t happened before in previous versions… at least on my computer.
