Is anyone else had issues with their focusrite 6i6 in Cubase??
The first problem I’ve been having is the sound just all of a sudden clicks off. I mean, I hear a click and then there’s no more sound. The audio signal shows but there’s no sound.
Then, today, my computer abruptly stopped recognizing the focusrite. I jumped on a chat and, after troubleshooting some more, I followed steps to uninstall and then reinstall the drivers. Hoping I installed the correct one. I selected Focusrite control which included drivers. For windows. I have actually had to uninstall and reinstall a few times before. Anyway, after I reinstalled what should be the updated drivers, my computer is still giving me an error message and saying that it cannot locate the focusrite. This is when I go into studio set up and to try to select that interface. Very frustrated
Lastly, focusrite recommended me using a shorter cable to connect my interface to the computer, however, I can’t find any that are less than 6 feet. The one I’m using is 6 feet and then I think I actually tried my 3 foot cable but to no avail
Does anyone have any insight into this?
