Having an issue whereby when having a track with an instrument on it when pressing the touch screen buttons or moving the fader a tone is made. which is not the behaviour I expected.
If a DAW controller triggers sounds, it is almost always because the control data (CC commands or touchscreen note data) is being routed to an instrument or audio track.
In Cubase, open the Studio > Studio Setup menu. Select MIDI Port Setup from the list on the left. Then, locate the MIDI inputs associated with the ICON P1-Nano in the table. Uncheck the box in the “In ‘All MIDI Inputs’” column for all of the controller’s ports. Additionally, check the active tracks in the Inspector to ensure that the MIDI input is not accidentally set to “All MIDI Inputs” instead of a specific keyboard or “Not Connected.”
