just a question about Cubase, i use Cubase pro 11 and trying to figure out if another program can run along side it, in parallel, without ‘out’ focusing. what i mean is, when using Cubase and switch to another app, Cubase is left dormant until you click back in the window pane, is it possible to get the two apps working at the same time, Cubase pro/ max 8, i use max 8 for a custom controller and trying to work out how the two will function together at the same time. hope you can help.

If you wouldn’t send any MIDI data or audio signal over Rewire or virtual Max’s MIDI Ports (it if you set Chinese to ignore these MIDI Ports), yes, you can run both applications independently.
