Cubase and Python problem

When trying to update the Download assistant I get this cubase 14 , on windows 11, been trying to get a solution for a week and it looks like I missed the deadline on the 19th now

Can this be fixed be reinstalling cubase or is there an easier way , when I sent this to support they basically said it was not their problem, thanks for any help on this

Which licenser are you trying to update?

, this comes up when I’m open cubase ?

Then when I open this

The eLicenser cannot be updated anymore.
Dorico 6.x doesn’t need it.
Do you still use products that require it?

This is the cubase 14.0.41 application is it for the licenses? And is that why it won’t install the program

This is the download assistant application, it says these need to be up dated , I would seem that the application for cubase 14 would need to be , but is it tied to the old e licenser that is not being used ? So neither of these applications need to be updated , and if so why are they saying they should be ?

Thanks for helping on this

Elicenser is not required for4 Cubase 14. If you no longer use it you could just uninstall it.

For the failed installs, this seems to be quite a common issue with SDA, you can run the installer manually as it says….from the install button click the little arrow and open folder and double click the installer.

There’s also an option in SDA settings to install Runtime Components which is actually elicenser, make sure to untick that.

ok deleted e licenser, and also tried manually installing it. there is some component missing that will not let it proceed, I have not added any new programs to the computer so Im wondering where this is all coming from

Just launch the installer manually from the target location.

Already tried that with the same response

OK. Have you tried restarting your computing and then running it manually?

Yes , thanks , this popped out of nowhere , I’ve had cubase for maybe 20 years, never had this kind of problem before

Same response as what exactly?? Post this error message.

The question here would be if this is the same issue people had with Omnivocal, where SDA could not launch the installer and you had to manually run the executable.

The same widow pops up e ven with manual install

Did that program install after manual install? Thanks

For Omnivocal, the only way to install it is manually.

Ok i dont use that , this is stirnbetg download and update platform , so its kind of crucial to the program itself as I see it
