I just bought a TC2290-DT, the plugin version with external controller. Sounds really nice and works fine except for one thing: when I use the buttons on the controller, no automation is written. If I press the corresponding buttons in the GUI, it writes automation as expected.
I’ve tried both the VST2 and VST3 versions, same issue with both. Latest version of the plugin, latest firmware. Does anyone else have this unit and can confirm the behavior? I’ll write to TC support as well but since it’s part of MusicTribe I don’t have much hope of anything happening there.
It’s unfortunate, I bought this unit mainly because I want to be able to tap in rhythms and have it properly written to automation, and that function just doesn’t work.
