Cubase and Wavelab

Sorry if this has been posted before.
I’ve got Cubase Pro 10.5, Wavelab Pro 10 and UR22C. If I am running Cubase and then I need to go to Wavelab, I need to quit Cubase and then start Wavelab and this is the same if I want to run Cubase after starting Wavelab. If Cubase is running and I start Wavelab, the audio cannot be heard. I can’t seem to find the setting where I can run both Cubase and Wavelab at the same time.
I really appreciate anyone’s help in the matter.

Enable this option, please: Studio > Studio Setup > VST Audio System > Release Driver when Application is in Background.
