I am running Artist 10.20.0 and have a Behringer X-Touch as my controller. When I select different tracks with my X-Touch is there a way of making the selected tracks VST instruments GUI be the one that is displayed, if that makes sense.

Do you want to select the Instrument Track via X-Touch and open the related VST Instrument GUI? This is not possible automatically. You would need to open the VSTi GUI manually. I don’t know, if this controller has the option. Steinberg CC121 has the button available.
