I upgraded from Cubase AI to Cubase Artist 12 and my Cubase starts to freeze on startup. I have tried many things and finally found that the problem is with my sound card. Cubase does not freeze without a sound card. This is a Steinberg Yamaha UR22mkii. I installed the latest driver. I have updated the firmware.
I reinstalled Cubase. I deleted the AppData/Steinberg folder. Nothing helped.
Please help!

Does Cubase make the DMP file, please?
I’ve replaced UR22mkii Yamaha driver v2.1.3 with v2.0.3.
It works now.
