Cubase Artist 13 freezes after a few seconds

When I open a project it will freeze up after about five seconds. After numerous attempts to get it going it operates normally. Help!

That sounds like it operates normally, so, all good…?
If you are still having trouble please provide more details like which OS, Cubase Version 13…xxx, is there something popping up, does it happen if you open a new/old project etc

I am running Cubase 13.0.50 on Windows 11. It happens every time I run any project and it will finally run normally but only after several attempts. It took about 15 minutes for it to clear up.

So it seems it is the recording function that freezes and the audio for anything I have recorded also freezes but the drum track continues to run with no issue.

I am also getting a Recording Error: Too Many Tracks Recording. I am only recording on one track.
