Cubase Artist 8.0.20 Unexpectedly quits opening a project

OSX 10.10.3

  1. Close current project in Cubase.
  2. akt-Tab to “Numbers” to update spreadsheet with the project I’ve just worked on.
  3. alt-Tab back to Cubase, go to “Open Project”
  4. Cubase unexpectedly quits.

Happens near enough every time.
