I just got a new Macbook Pro 2015 and installed Cubase Artist 8. I have my license plugged in and I can run the Cubase 8 trial with no problems. However, when I try to run Cubase Artist 8, it instantly crashes while loading ELC and gives me an error message.
If anyone knows how to fix this, it would be greatly appreciated. I need to work on music during the next couple months and I only have 20 hours left on the Cubase 8 trial. Thanks!

Can you please provide a screenshot of the error that you’re receiving? Also, what OS are you running? Are you running Cubase Artist 8 or Cubase Artist 8.5?

Thanks for the reply! I’m running (or not running should I say) Cubase Artist 8 on OS X El Capitan version 10.11.6. It’s a very long error message that I can’t fit in here, but it says for “crashed thread” this:
Crashed thread: 0 Dispatch queue: com.apple.main-thread
The message it gives me is “Cubase quit unexpectedly. Click Reopen to open the application again. This report will be sent to Apple automatically.” Let me know if you need anything else.
