Cubase Audio File renaming Issue

Hi, I’m having a problem in renaming audio files in Cubase. When I first record audio it automatically takes the track name which is fine. Sometimes I’d need to rename files to classify files. When I try to rename the audio file no matter if I rename it from info track or audio pool (Edit-rename) the file itself, the name on the pool and even the info name changes. This also applies to the file in the Audio folder. But the name on the track consistently remains old as seen in

screenshots. Feels like there is a need to refresh it somehow. Restarting Cubase or project does not help. The only way is to re-import the file which is a hassle if you already have tweaked it. It seems like a bug and I don’t know how to report this except for here. I’m on Windows 11 25H2 + Amd Ryzen AI 9HX. Cubase Version 15.0.21. Although v 15.0.30 is there is no reference to a correction on this issue so I did not install it yet. I searched the database but could not find a valid solution regarding this. Any help is much appreciated.

An audio event has a description and a clip name. It is displayed like this on the event:
Description (clip name)
However, you can chose not to show the clip name with this setting in the Preferences:
grafik

You see the descriptions of the events but you can’t really see that because the Description field is not visible in you Info Line.
grafik

Right-click into the Info Line and activate “Description”.
There is also a key command “Rename selected event”.

The description does not change automatically when changing the file name (and clip name) of the file.

How come I never realized a description area to activate existed in the info bar. That explains the problem? Thank you so much for the help.
