I am trying to import and audio file into a mastering template to edit it. I click the mp3 file and it completely closes cubase. Does anyone know how to fix this?

How do you import? Drag and Drop from File explorer or from MediaBay or via menu?
Could you post the MP3 file specification (compression, bit, C/VBR?
I expect Cubase generate a crash dump. Could you share it here, please?
