Cubase automatically replaces some plug-ins used in old projects?

Apologies, I’m still not sure I’m understanding the Cubase replacement process as well as I should.

If you still have Kontakt 5 on your machine it will use it and not replace it automatically with Kontakt 7. If it will be replaced you will get a notification during loading a project.

Does this mean replacement with Kontakt 7 will only occur if Kontact 5 is used in the project but is no longer on the computer?

if you do not remove the older plugin, no problem, this older one will still be used

Does he mean if you do not remove the older plugin from the computer (as opposed to from the project)?

If so, great, no problem here, and I don’t think I see a scenario where I would want to override that behavior, thank you!

One question unanswered from my post @steve , as far as I can tell … am I missing that from what you posted, apologies if so!

The 12.0.51 release notes say, as above, the plug-in replacement has been “improved” … does that imply it was introduced in a version prior to 12.0.51 … if so, which one?
