I unfortunately have to describe a problem here with the Cubase 13 Version and I’m completely stuck 
Even Steinberg Support directed me here, as they apparently didn’t know how to proceed. That’s why you are my last hope.
The issue is actually a simple one: automation. It’s just not working. No matter which instrument or new project I choose to apply any automation, nothing gets recorded as shown in the video at this link:

Paradoxically, Cubase’s modulation curve shows all the changes I made, which means that they were indeed recognized by Cubase. Here is a picture of it below:
Perhaps as additional information, recording MIDI notes from my keyboard does work, but automation still doesn’t.
Furthermore, there’s a second problem, which can also be seen in the video starting at 00:50. No points or markers are being created in the volume track that would help edit the area between the markers, such as a curve.
As requested by support, I uninstalled the software, but the issue remained the same. I am open to any suggestions and thank you in advance!
