Cubase can't tell mono input 2 even though Agreggated device recognizes it

Can’t create a new track with input 2

What you see there is only what you have set up in audio connections/inputs - That’s what you’ll need to edit or to show a screencap of if you think it’s correct.

the second pic creating a track shows there’s no mono input 2, which should

Like I said. You need to show a screenshot of the audio connections window.

If you click where it says not connected can’t you add the 2nd input?

That will fix your stereo input. Then add 2 x mono bus and assign in 1 and in 2..

Save that so you can reload if you lose them at any point.

EDIT - I also see it says you have built in audio as your audio device- Did you actually select the aggregate device as the Cubase ASIO audio system?

Thanks for bothering to try & help. Don’t know abut the built in audio or adding buses… The weird thing is that I have an older file where I do c the mono 2 input, so at least I’m not worried about my sound card malfunctioning… I’ll forget about this for a while. Just want to practice along with a metronome so there’s thousands of them out there
