Yes, it seems like Steinberg/Yamaha does not offer chat support in the US anymore. If I were you I’d go with telephone support. It has a very good reputation and it’s fast. If you open an online support ticket it’ll take weeks/months before you get a reply.
Of course, you can also look for answers/ask for help here in this forum. But you probably already knew

Nope, there has never been a chat support in Germany/Europe. At least not to the best of my knowledge. Maybe there was at one point but definetly not anymore.
If you have got non technical issues like licensing problems or questions with regard to purchasing a product then they will usually reply in a timely manner. Aĺl other support tickets…
