Cubase could do with Improvements to the arranger track function

Hi, the arranger is handy, but it would be way more handy if one could grab sections that were not all the tracks at the same time. By this I mean to say if you want to have a section without the drums or the bass, you could select individual track areas and have them as parts in the arrangement. So instead of having to cut and paste everything you could try things out by highlighting just the sections you want and have them be a part in the arrangement.

PS why does Cubase not just close when you press quit? I have a large template and the program seems to run the cleaner code for every section of code that is loaded, but when you press quit the app.quit function is not used in vb or C code? Mine can take 4-5 minutes to quit the app which is ridiculous.

Yea it does this Unload for each plug-in and that seems to be a new thing, cause I don’t remember having to suffer through that with Cubase 12.

Always start by letting others know which version of Cubase you are using, which edition (e.g. Pro, Artist) and which OS.

It’s possible I’m missing out on some complexity or great feature that the arranger track offers, but I’ve always just placed all my audio and midi folder tracks into a MASTER/ARRANGE folder, so I can just cut, copy and paste different sections from the MASTER timeline very quickly. I’ve never felt I needed more than that.
