For what it’s worth @arfo62 the structure of the BTP mixing course looks like what I’m after - if only they did it in book format!
I think there is a reason for that. If you take mix reviews seriously, it takes some time, and someone has to pay for that, and it is hard to factor that into the price say of a video course (for example, if your course turns out to be really successful, you might get flooded with mix review request and don’t have time for much else). Probably easier to offer them on a pay-per-review basis.
Regarding price for courses: as with software, most of the course vendors regularly offer discounts (e.g. Black Friday), so it might be worth finding out about those if you find one that you like.
Doesn’t Chris Selim offer mixing courses including mix reviews?
Also, “Produce like a Pro” by Warren Huart springs to mind.
While I’m at it, Nathan Daniels mixing one on one seems to be reasonably priced and quite good.
I’ve watched the intro video and it’s one in my list; I don’t particularly feel the need for the book format as I have - for mixing part - the Bobby Owsinski one that’s great.
This is an aspect to consider, actually.
This too! On the other han I would prefer to find something I could focus on during summer as, being a school teacher, I definitely would have much more free time to dedicate…
About CS, as I wrote, I wasn’t very satisfied with a course of him I’d started.
Warren Huart tutorials are really very interesting and well done but in the past I had excluded it for some reason I can’t recall; I watched the page now and they are on sale (99$ yearly subscription instead of 199$ and this is very attractive!) thank you for reminding me! I’ve just written an info request.
Nathan Daniels: he promises a lot but his page is very very basic and didn’t appear very appealing to me but I could be wrong.

When I sarted I payed 7.50 £ per month, but found it very informativ and registered a yearly subscribtion for 75 £; 2 months free it is.
Whether it’s still at this price I don’t know, but if you click at subscribtion in the webpage you’ll find out, I suppose.

Well,…read it again! It can’t be interpreted differently imo.
Groove3 have many reasonably priced video tutorials on all matters audio.
I bought a couple of them in the past and never been really disappointed.
A lot depends on the tutor of course, there’s many different styles of explaining things, some you’d like better than others.
Speed of speech also matters to non native English speakers.
I can strongly recommend Kenny Gioia’s videos on mixing. Eli Krantzberg doing very well explained stuff, also going into some theoretical stuff.
There’s always at least 1 free lesson to watch,sometimes just the introduction to the course.

That you @funkster1 , someone mentioned Groove3 yet, if I remember well, but I only had a fast view, I should try some demo but the course I saw was about Cubase 10…; if I’m not wrong it’s possible to do a one month all pass subscription so to test everything one’s interested in…
This shouldn’t be a problem to me, hopefully 
I’ve participated to many workshops completely English spoken and not always there was an interpreter.

I have done a lot over decades. Groove 3 do some decent courses. However, here are a few tips.
When I do not understand something in CUbase, i simpy put teh question “how to do X” in Google and the AI comes back with an answer. It’s much better than the Operational Manual.
Utube has many whole courses on Cubase. You will get to know what you need
Trtying to understand the whole of cubase, for a beginner, is a fools errand. it takes years. What you need to focus on is getting yourself a “workflow” than suits your needs. This depends on your aims.
When i first read teh manual (in 93) it just went straight over my head. Too many new concepts. Much better to take a small area - such as “recording audio”, or “using the key editor” and really put the effort in. You need clickability - muscle memory goto clickability, to truly use Cubase well

I’ve been using Cubase since it was on the Atari STf, in the late Eighties (…) so I know the basic stuff that I generally use pretty well; with so many updates I’ve lost something, anyway, so in addition to the user manual I use YouTube a lot, like you suggest, and this forum is great too.
What I’m after at the moment, as I wrote in my first post, is something more focused on advanced production techniques and mixing maybe with a certification (even if it’s not my main goal); at the top of my favourites list - for now - there are the ThinkSpace and the NextLevelSound mixing courses, both based on Cubase but with very different prices; I’m also evaluating some of the alternatives that were suggested in this thread.
In a recent video by Dom Sigalas about his favourites headphones he says that his Mixing Masterclass should be ready very soon so I’m curious to know something more about it…

Another one for the pot @arfo62 ? Steinberg have recently promoted this provider’s Wavelab course as being from a partner… I had a look through their offerings and although this is C14 rather than C15, it looks relevant and inexpensive (they do a C15 new features as well)

The course is “coming soon” according to this page but there’s also a “closed” writing; the enroll button is active anyway; it seems not to be completely held in Cubase, as there are a lot of extra plugins in the pictures and in the intro video, I hope I can ask it someway…
Very well said. There is no master of Cubase 15. Even Greg Ondo and other smart guys can be stumped on occasion.
What I think can typically happen is being drawn into more functions than what you practically need which can be distracting from completed tracks…assuming that’s an objective.
For me, there are some relatively rare functions/features that I remember working them out from 15 years ago. But since those functions have rarely been desired since that time, I have forgotten how to use them. That’s a sign for me that I’m going too deep. And sometimes, the function/feature has changed.
