Cubase Crash - Editing Dystropia library in NI Kontakt

Cubase 14-2025-11-01-111548.ips (229.0 KB)

Cubase 14.0.30 (in Rosetta mode due to other issues that prevent Native from functioning and I can’t figure out how to fix)

Apple M3 Ultra

MacOS Sequioa: Version 15.6.1 (24G90)

I opened Cubase and loaded Kontakt up to edit a patch in the new Heavyocity library Dystropia and Cubase crashed unexpectedly while editing. I only had one instrument track open - it was a fresh instance with Kontakt running in that one track only.

Hi,

The crash is in NI Kontakt 7:

Okay, thank you for looking over the crash log to let me know. I’ll try upgrading Kontakt to see if that helps since I’m a version behind.

According to the product page tech specs & requirements. It requires Kontakt 7.10.9 (Player) or later.

If you still experience issues with this version or higher than you should contact Heavyocity support.
