Cubase crash, impossible to lauch cubase

impossible to me to open cubase 12,13 or 14 ( i downloaded trial version for two month )
All the time the same error message :

Hi Yoann, welcome to the forum!

According to your crash log, you’re using macOS 11.7.10 (Big Sur) which is not supported by Cubase 14. According to the system requirements listed on this page, at least Ventura is required.

Please post the complete diagnostic report (an .ips file) so that the developers can investigate the cause of the crash. It should be located in folder ~/Library/Logs/Diagnostic Reports.

The crash is coming from a very old HALion Sonic SE version, namely 2.0.
The latest HALion Sonic SE is 3.5 and even that one now got superseded by HALion Sonic 7.1. Yes, that’s right, no more SE , from recently we decided to skip SE and make HALion Sonic the default player in not only Cubase, but also in Nuendo and Dorico.
The old HALion Sonice SE 2 you will find under

        /Library/Application Support/Steinberg/Components

Delete it from there and install the HALion Sonic 7.1 via the Steinberg Download Assistant. That will install into

 /Library/Audio/Plug-ins/VST3/Steinberg

Did you delete the older SE versions as ULF suggested?

You’re in the folder where 7 is installed so I guess from Ulfs previous post this is the plugins folder. They told you a different folder for the old SE install.
