Cubase Crash on Exit Fix

Hi

Since the update to 6.0.3 every single time that i close Cubase it hangs and crash (“Cubase 6 has stopped working”…etc)

I removed the preferences and it didn’t work.
I removed my vst plug ins folders (32 & 64 and Jbridged/vst3) and it didn’t work.

Now i´ve selected to run it as Administrator and used compatibility with VISTA and for the first time it closed fine,it tooks a few seconds but no crash.
So it seems that despite stated Cubase 6.0.3 doesn’t fully suppport Windows 7 64… :question:

Users having this issue may try this fix and report back.

It does fully support W764 here. But running as Administrator would do no harm.
Some setting in Windows is blocking access to the ram allocated for Cubase to run. Could be tricky to pinpoint what exactly though.
When you change to Vista another block of clean ram is used. Thus it runs ok.

Is that a clean Cubase? ie: no third party plugins.

Mmmm…i assume that i should have any other issues on Cubase but it works flawless.
The only problem was the hang-crash on exit which seems solved now.

Is that a clean Cubase? ie: no third party plugins.

Uad 1 & 2,Liquid Mix 16,RP delay,Waves Audiotrack,Kore 2.

But imo nothing has to do with plugs cause i removed them to test the issue.
