I am getting crashes in Cubase 14 when I go to setup a VEPro audio input. Dose anyone know if there is a known issue with VEPro Audio Input in Mac OS Sequoia 15.3.2 and Cubase 14.0.20. I’m on a Mac Mini M4 Pro 64GB of memory, and have quite a bit of instability generally with Cubase 14. Thanks for your help. I’ll follow up as I learn more.
Hi,
Attach the *.ips file, please.
Mac: macOS Console utility > Crash Reports (or ~user/Library/Logs/Diagnostic Reports).

Confirmed crash with VEPro Audio “effect” plugin mapped back to VEPro server. I’ll let you post your own .ips file, but just letting you know I get the same error.
AI review of the crash file indicated it thought there was a mismatch between Rosetta and Apple Silicon plugins. My VEPro is running on MacOS 15.4.1 Intel Xeon W, my client Cubase is running on M3 Max 15.4.1, both installs of VE up-to-date.
Hi,
I’m sorry, this is not the source *.ips file. This is a link to the file.
Please, do so.
Yes sir.

Hi,
Reported to Steinberg. Thank you!
Hi Martin,
This solution, from Vienna Support, has worked for me. "deactivate ASIO Guard for Vienna Ensemble Pro in particular”
Thanks so much for your help.

I can, but I don’t use the VEP “audio” routing at all. I just wanted to provide a repro test. I say that because it crashed on loading the plug-in in a bare project and I doubt another .ips will be any different. But yes, I’ll post that later today
Yes, it appears to be solved completely. The project ran for about two hours with no crashing. I haven’t used it yet in another project, but I will later this week.
