Hello,
I have Cubase LE 5 and windows XP. I have an old Mark of the Unicorn 8 port Express XT parallel. It is connected up and configured and the driver shows in device manager. However it causes Cubase to crash on loading when it comes to configuring midi devices. I believe I have all current updates for windows, Cubase, and drivers for it from MOTU’s page. If I disable the XT in the device manager and launch Cubase is works just fine. Does anyone have a suggestions or work arounds ?
Try trashing Prefs.
