Cubase crashes and points to ucrtbase.dll error when using variaudio for sound correction

Cubase crashes and points to ucrtbase.dll error when using variaudio for sound correction. And this problem seems only likely to occur when using variaudio .How should I solve this problem?
Cubase 14.0.20 64bit2025.3.16 12.33.39.639.dmp (3.9 MB)
Best wishes

nobody knows??

It’s possible you have some corruption in either the ucrtbase.dll file or somewhere in the MS C ++ redistributable.
I would suggest you open an admin level command prompt and run an sfc /scannow command first. It will hunt for damaged or missing files and repair them where possible. You’ll get a report at the end of the scan.
If this doesn’t work, you could try repairing or re-installing the MS Visual C ++ redistributable .

Thank you so much.I have checked with cmd during this period and there are no issues. I also reinstalled the system and the problem still persists. I will try fixing C++

I just wanna to say some dirty words. The reason for this problem is that the project itself may have been damaged. I created a blank project and imported all the tracks from the original project into the blank project, and then the shift never happened again. This wasted a whole 3 days of my time

Or, you invested 3 days of your time to identify a workaround for a yet undetermined issue with your project that has yielded valuable troubleshooting skills which will serve you for the rest of your life!

Half-full, man. Half-full.

Well, if the SFC and C++ repair hadn’t worked, my next question would have been ‘does this only happen on one project?’ so you got there before me.
Glad to see you got it sorted.
