This is getting really frustrating. If I engage an insert or send while my project is playing everything just craps out. The meters start jumping up and down. The playback stutters and there is NO sound. Has anybody had this problem?

Apollo X4 (that’s new but I never had problems with my Apollo twin duo)
Cubase 10.5
Catalina 10.15
I can’t figure this out. Should I move away from Catalina?
