Cubase crashes when selecting sidechain channel

When I click on that GUITARS LEAD OLD@, it crashes, every time.

I can’t speak for Trackspacer, but I’ve seen reports of “special characters” in tracks causing issues with some 3rd party effects. This works fine in C14P, even with special characters with multiple plugins (I actually had to test as I don’t use special characters in track names) and didn’t have an issue.

Does just renaming the track fix it?

Thanks for your reply, sorry for not mentioning this, but it happens with every plugin that has sidechain, not specifically trackspacer. I tried with a different one, and it still happens.

I just tried to rename, still crashes.

When I route that track that I put the trackspacer with sidechain (JUNO PAD ORG) to Stereo Out, instead of that group track it’s currently routed to, then selecting the sidechain won’t crash it. I have no idea why. My guess is that there’s something circular in the routing that causes this but I couldn’t find it. And as usual I feel like I’m becoming a beta tester for Cubase

Ah, so you’ve got more routing going than what’s shown. I don’t have C13 installed anymore, so I can’t test from my end - I just figured I’d identify the potential “special character” report and see if that helped

Thank you, I’m not sure what I should show here for it to be helpful

Btw for me using special characters of shift+number never caused an issue
