Cubase crashes when silencing audio

  • Import an audio track (mines is ~15m 32-bit float wav @ 44.1kHz)
  • Open the editor for the audio track
  • Select a range
  • Select “Process / Silence”
  • Crash!

Repeatable on my system.

Windows 10 (3.2Ghz 4-core i7, 12GB DDR3)
Cubase Pro 10.0.30
Only plugin used: iZotope Ozone

Could you attach a crash dump file located in Documents/Steinberg/Crash Dumps folder, please?

No crash dumps. Cubase just vanishes. :confused:

Could you try to make a crash dump file by using Microsoft ProcDump then?

OK so now from being 100% reproducible it’s 0% reproducible!

Will update you if it starts happening again.
