Cubase crashes with roland cloud plugins

Hi,

I just activated a month trial of the Roland cloud. Every time I use some plugins, specially the TB-303, TR-808 or TR-909 there’s a Cubase crash. My Version is the latest (10.0.50 build 301). I even reinstalled everything in the hope to repair something.
Any ideas? I would like to know if the plugins work at all before I think of subscribing (by the way, the same plugins on FL Studio did not seem to cause any problem).

Thank you in advance,
Quino

Hi,

Could you attach the crash dump file, please?

Hi,

I get many exception dialogs and dump files, every time when I click on play (on Cubase transport bar). I have to end Cubase with the task manager…
Attached the first three files (sorted by name)…
Cubase 10.0.50.301 64bit 2019.11.2 17.10.12.312.dmp (1.07 MB)
Cubase 10.0.50.301 64bit 2019.11.2 17.10.11.873.dmp (1.04 MB)
Cubase 10.0.50.301 64bit 2019.11.2 17.10.11.437.dmp (1.01 MB)

Hi,

All 3 crashes are exactly the same, in the TB_303_VST2_64bit_+0x205e32 plug-in. Please inform the plug-in vendor.

Hi Martin,

thank you very much for your help. Your comment above, made me realize, that I was loading the VST2 version of the plugins (I had default sorting by category, not by manufacturer). I just hid the VST2 versions of them and can load and use the VST3 versions without (apparently) any issue. Anyway, I informed the vendor about the problem with the VST2 versions.

Maybe this info helps others in my situation.

Thank you again for your help,
Quino

Same problem here. Thanks for the info!

wow I just made a video on YouTube about this problem, and I did not think about that I also have been loading the vst2 versions of the Roland products I even made a different thread on it I will try it now
