Cubase Crashing with Note Expression

Too often I open the Note Expression dialogue and get ‘A serious issue has occurred’ then my sound goes crunchy and I have to restart Cubase.
I tried ‘Consolidating Note Expression’ and Cubase still crashes. I noticed there is a ‘Resolve Note Expression’ in the Key Commands but could not find anything in the manual about it.

All of these crashes are the same. Reported to Steinberg CAN-23021.

Could you maybe attach one of the problematic projects and tell me what you usually do to make it crash. If you are not sure maybe you still have some information or hints for me to find a repro.

If possible try to observe and find out what the repro is to creating the crash and tell us.
I will continue to investigate myself.

This issue has been fixed in Cubase 10.0.40 update.
