Cubase .dawproject functional yet? cubasis read .mid yet?

In theory, I am supposed to be able to export a project in Cubase Pro 15 so that I can import it in CUBASIS Pro. Only get a blank empty file no matter what intel is used to try to export from CUBASE. ANYBODY?

Attempted to import a MIDI .mid file into CUBASIS on iPad Pro. Did not work. The same .mid file did import quite well in GarageBand, but yuk, GB.

Where to go, what to do now?
