Cubase does not adpot plugin settings after updating plugin (old plugin missing)

I have here an „old“ (2 years) project with JST Clip on the drum bus. Some days ago I´ve updated all my plugins on the mac to the newest version.

If I now load the old project…. Cubase tells me during opening the project that JST Clip is missing on the channel. But the updated JST Clip version is successfully installed and available in Cubase (see pics).

Can you please help me that I can recall the project with the original settings in JST clip? I had no success with the JST support. They only told me to use the old version (WTF).

It’s up to the plugin author to maintain preset compatibility between versions, I’m afraid.
