Thanx for answer tha only point, why I was asking, was the fact wherher I have to find a solution more or less soon and as I supposed better to change these old HWs even they are working well (in their principles). I am gonna dig eBay or similar (there is not anything new what suits my needs until I have to change a few cabels….so…not easy ).
Once we get our test devices in, we’ll start debugging. Once we have a fix, it will take a few months to make it into Windows 11.
In some cases, like what I did for the loopMIDI fix, I can put out a preview service and/or service plugin on our Discord server first for folks to try out. Windows MIDI / Audio.
Hey @Psychlist1972 . Since I deinstalled the driver for Midisport 2x2 I think the issues are all gone now. I can’t say for sure at the moment that they are completely gone but since 2 days now no issue neither in Cubase startup nor in shutdown appeared so far.
I pray that this will hold up in the upcoming days.
The other information in this thread points to the specific drivers which cause the problem. Please check the workarounds and info in the link above, otherwise, you’re going to have to keep fighting the problem with each month’s release.
