Cubase Dongle On 2 'Puters

Hi All,
Is it permissible to plug the eLicenser dongle into a small hub that splits into 2 computers as long as I run only one instance of Cubase at a time? Sometimes I have to bounce back and forth from one to the other and wanted to be sure before I made a purchase.
Thanks.

Will

This has been discussed before. Review for yourself and decide. Maybe someone confirmed it would work but definitely not running 2 instances of Cubase at the same time.

Also to consider… maybe you can load a free LE SeL version on one computer and keep the “better” version on the USB dongle on your main computer.

Sure it’s permissible since it’s not against the eula. There’s even a USB network device out there.

Especially if you’re talking about a switch like this: Amazon.com

Thanks for the links Prock!

Yes sir, like that.

This is what I ended up going with. I can switch my Cubase dongle and 3 other devices which includes my mouse and keyboard, from one computer to the next with the press of a button. I have 3 computers that I switch between although it will handle 4. Works great for me.
