Cubase element 10.5 on a new macbook

How can i activate my old Cubase element 10.5 on a new mac book air m5?

Welcome to the forum.

Do you have a USB eLicenser or did you use the Soft eLicenser for your Elements 10 license?

If you have a USB stick you can simply install the software via the Steinberg Download Assistant and make sure the eLicenser Control Center is installed as well.

In case it was the Soft eLicenser it can not be reactivated anymore, because the eLicenser system has been shutdown in May last year. In that case you need to buy the update to Cubase Elements 15, which is now using Steinberg Licensing.

The update is also a good choice because Cubase 10 does not support the Apple Silicon chips, it will run under the Rosetta Intel emulation. This will be discontinued by Apple probably around 2028.

You can find all information about the eLicenser shutdown here

Yes i understand thank thank you do much i need only the prologue vst that id gone from my works

Well, even all the instruments and samples used the eLicenser previously, so they all need to be updated to the Steinberg Licensing.

You might have some update vouchers, so login to your account at the Steinberg Online Portal and check the vouchers category for waiting updates.

Ok thanks again
