My cubase element has no issue on midi recording but doenst work for audio recording, is there any specific sound card require for audio recording? Its shows up driver in bus setup but also showing the word inactive. I am sure mic is working as i can do recording with audacity.

If you want to record an Audio signal, and you want to hear it in real-time, you would need an Audio Device (sound card) with ASIO driver. For exacmple Steinberg UR12. THen, you would need a proper microphone.
But in general, your CUbase should be able to record even from your internal microphone, if you set the internal sound card as an Audio Device, and set the Input in the VST Connections > Inputs.
